We travel far and wide in Bradford - and even though we were born here and grew up here, there is always something new to see. It seems that around every corner - even in the middle of the changing city - there are reminders of the people who believed so strongly in Bradford and made it such a great city.
I often think about the great names from the past - particularly when I see stones that resonate with the names of pioneers that are associated with our city - philanthropists, inventors, writers, industrialists - Salt, Silver, Cartwright, Priestley, Forster. I like to dabble in local history - so I put a quiz together around some of the UK pioneers that ought to make us so proud of our city and where we have come from. You probably know them all - but you might find something new here. There are a few questions about the sights of our city too. They might remind you of a favourite corner to visit!

The stone illustrated is typical of some of the old, carved craftsmanship from the past- but it is actually available in the classical section of our portfolio.
